Book of Remembrance
A book of remembrance is kept in the Chapel on the ground floor of the Lister Hospital. It contains short messages from parents and loved ones on their baby's special day. The book is brought
to our Memorial Service each year.
If you would like your baby's name added to the book please read the notes and then complete the form below. If you have any questions please do get in touch by emailing Cathy Beach.
Unfortunately our Calligrapher has moved away from the area. We will be unable to update the book until we find someone else. In the meantime please do send in your details and we will update the book as soon as possible. We apologise for any disapointment this may cause.
Notes for completing the form
The book is updated by hand by a calligrapher. This is usually done once a year in time for our Annual Memorial Service in October. It may therefore be some months before your entry is added so please do be patient.
The service is free of charge but we do appreciate a donation if you are able to as this covers our calligraphers fee. If you are able to make a donation please do so here: DONATE
We will not use your details from this form for any other reason than for adminstering and maintaining the Memorial Book. The details will be shared with our calligrapher but she will not keep a record of these.
Please be aware that we may take photographs of the Memorial Book pages for example in case of damage or for conservation and repair purposes. These images may include your baby's details.
